McCart Compensation Disclosure
The McCart Group provides its clients, upon request, with full and complete disclosure of all compensation earned and paid by the various insurance carriers and service providers.

Many insurers’ rates include broker compensation. We work to ensure that the value of the products and services we provide is based on our experience, knowledge and expertise and emanates our commitment to each and every client, regardless of compensation factors.

Standard Compensation
The McCart Group is flexible in the way in which we are compensated. We are most typically retained by clients for ongoing service and projects and are compensated on a fee-for-service, hourly, commission, or project basis.

Additional Compensation
Many insurance companies and service providers offer additional compensation incentives that are earned as a result of our preferred relationship and overall performance of our combined book of business, sales, retention and other factors.

The McCart Group makes all recommendations based on the benefits, services, technological applications, rates, and other factors as they relate to the specific proposal that the insurance carriers provide for your group.  We believe that any preferred relationships that we may have established, provide improved services, underwriting concessions, and long-term product stability for our clients.

The McCart Group does not request additional compensation, but does accept what is earned from the published, state-filed and authorized bonus programs. In most cases, qualification for such compensation is based on many factors that are not known at the time of the recommendations.

The McCart Group operates on a fair, reasonable and consistent profit basis. Bonus or additional compensation accounts for less than 1% of total revenue to our firm. Our goal is to be completely transparent and up front about all compensation we receive for our products and services.

For most groups over 100 employees with ERISA benefit plans, compensation is listed on 5500 Schedule A reports provided by insurers.
